Please help
I'm trying to narrow down my submission photos for the photo contest I'm in and one of the categories is 'people' - so of course I had to submit photos of one of my darlings, so I took some shots of Daria on her tummy on my couch.
Which one do you think is more 'contest worthy'? And what can I do to make it even better?

They're both beautiful. Are you allowed to photoshop? It might be worth playing with contrast and color variations. A trick I found yesterday: you know how you make a picture sepia by removing all color and then increasing red twice and green once? If you don't remove color first and then increase red twice and green once, and maybe fuzz the picture a teeny tiny bit, it looks like it was taken 30 years ago. Seriously, it looks just like photos taken in the 70's. This is my new favorite thing.
ooh - good thought. Didn't think of trying sepia or black & white variations... I'll post them and see what everyone thinks!
